Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our high-performing New Building Solution team in Melbourne, Victoria. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with industry-leading products and technology.

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation of new elevators, escalators, and auto walks from commencement to commissioning. You will manage the equipment installation environment during installation activities, manage on-site communication with customers for day-to-day installation and logistical activities, and report installation progress to the installation supervisor.

You will also be responsible for carrying out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures, including health, quality, and safety standards. Additionally, you will carry out the installation according to pre-determined method instructions and schedules.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of mechanical experience, preferably in the lift industry
  • A Certificate 3 in mechanical fitting/fabrication engineering (desired)
  • Trade tickets in dogging and advanced rigging (desired)
