Your attention to detail and ability to follow schedules will be essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Disinfection: Ensure all cleaning requirements are met each shift, adhering to infection control policies and procedures to minimize the risk of infection transmission.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Interact with residents in a friendly, helpful, and positive manner, working effectively within a team to achieve shared goals.
  • Maintenance and Reporting: Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
  • Adherence to Protocols: Follow established cleaning protocols, safe work practices, and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Cleaning Experience: Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, health care or aged care environment; or the willingness and motivation to learn.
  • Cleaning Knowledge: Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols and schedules.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Positive Attitude: A positive attitude and a compassionate approach to elderly residents.
  • Infection Control: Understanding and adherence to infection control practices.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Availability: Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required.
