Job Opportunity

A senior lawyer position is available for an experienced and motivated individual.

This role involves managing complex litigation cases and overseeing a team of staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of court practices and procedures, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling personal injury cases and addressing historical institutional abuse claims
  • Managing contempt of court and vexatious litigant claims, and conducting judicial reviews
  • Working on asset confiscation, coronial inquests, public liability cases, and subpoenas
Requirements
  • 6+ years post-admission experience
  • Demonstrated experience in complex proceedings, including personal injury/civil litigation
  • Ability to provide comprehensive legal advice and supervise files
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
