We are seeking a highly skilled Welding Craftsman to join our IIQAF team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting and joining metals and other materials at our facilities or construction sites.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical structures and be proficient in operating a variety of equipment including powered saws and angle grinders.

  1. Read blueprints and drawings to plan layout and procedures
  2. Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method
  3. Set up components for welding according to specifications
  4. Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for welding
  5. Align components and clamp pieces
  6. Weld components using manual or semi-automatic equipment
  7. Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
  8. Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure

The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a welder and be proficient in using a variety of welding equipment and procedures.
