About APM
This is a distinctive opportunity as APM is a leading rehabilitation service provider for ADF personnel. As an ADF Rehabilitation Consultant, you will collaborate with our Defence force to facilitate their rehabilitation journey:
- adopt a comprehensive care approach and engage within a multidisciplinary team to assist the transition from rehabilitation to recovery.
- apply clinical reasoning skills and expertise to aid individuals who have experienced a variety of injuries, illnesses, or trauma.
- partner with motivated clients to create, execute, and oversee their rehabilitation plans while having immediate access to medical and treatment professionals (Doctors, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, etc.) for additional direct support.
Working from a designated location, the structured working hours ensure a genuine WORK / LIFE balance – no overtime or after-hours obligations. Enjoy early starts and early finishes.
As part of a high-quality service provider, you will receive SUPPORT and MENTORSHIP through direct engagement and a comprehensive onboarding process (including ongoing shadowing) to enhance your technical knowledge and expertise, positioning you for success.
What will contribute to your success:
- Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA or ESSA).
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, or Osteopathy.
- Strong clinical reasoning abilities.
- Capacity to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to achieve a shared objective.
- A genuine passion for assisting individuals in their rehabilitation journey.
