Job Overview

Our Cayman Islands client seeks a Trusts and Estates Specialist with 4-8 years' post-qualification experience to advise on wealth structuring, estate planning, trust administration, probate matters, and contentious trust disputes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on trusts and estates law in the Cayman Islands.
  • Administer, restructure, and terminate trusts for high net worth clients.
  • Handle probate matters, including related applications.
  • Act on contentious trust disputes, estate litigation, and cross-border private client matters.
  • Collaborate with trustees, beneficiaries, family offices, executors, wealth managers, and onshore legal teams.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum 4-8 years PQE in private client law or a closely related field.
  • Experience with trusts, estates, and probate matters, including administration, restructuring, termination, and disputes.
  • Strong interpersonal and client-management skills; ability to work with high net worth individuals and institutional clients.
  • Ability to operate in a cross-border environment and collaborate with onshore teams.
