Job Title: Mental Health Professional

Mental Health Professional Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Professional to join our multidisciplinary team. As an integral part of our team, you will be providing high-quality assessments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to young people aged 12–25 experiencing mental health difficulties.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, case management, and intervention or group work as required
  • Deliver evidence-based low-intensity and moderate-intensity mental health interventions tailored to individual needs
  • Liaise with Senior Clinicians to monitor client pathways, support referral triage, and transitions to other services
  • Participate in mental health education programs for health professionals and community groups as needed
  • Contribute to quality and service improvement activities enhancing client care and service delivery within the team

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse, or Social Worker with AASW registration/eligibility
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in routine clinical practice with a superior understanding within the continuum of care
  • Ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team using high-level communication skills to establish partnerships and provide consultation
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to professional development through education, networking, and application of evidence-based practice
