**Design Technologist Role Summary**

This role requires a skilled professional with extensive experience in design technology, prototyping, and front-end development. The ideal candidate will be able to create interactive prototypes using Figma and modern JavaScript frameworks, including React.

The successful candidate will also have foundational skills in motion and accessibility, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.

A key aspect of this position is the ability to apply AI literacy to prototyping and AI tooling, and to champion best practices and accelerate innovation through AI toolchain workflow improvements.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Create interactive prototypes using Figma and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, etc.).
  • Apply foundational skills in design technology, including motion and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with engineers to clarify requirements and ensure smooth handoff.
  • Support junior designers in navigating technical considerations.
  • Contribute to the adoption of design system components and best practices.
  • Participate in accessibility and design reviews, ensuring inclusive experiences.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
  • 5+ years solid experience in design technology, prototyping, and front-end development.
  • Foundational skills in React, JavaScript frameworks, and prototyping tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Interest in AI/ML, motion, and accessibility in design.
