We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our team in Norwest, working for a thriving accounting firm that offers a great culture. Key responsibilities will include processing and managing accounts receivable and payable, payroll management, and bank and credit card reconciliations.

THE ROLE:

As a bookkeeper for our accounting firm in Norwest, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Process and manage accounts receivable and payable
  • Payroll management and reporting
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Monthly management accounts and cash flows
  • Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS
  • Reconcile GST and PAYG accounts in the balance sheet
  • Process purchase and sale of assets
  • Process HP payments and interest components

THE CANDIDATE:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant accounting or bookkeeping qualifications, experience working within a similar accounting environment, and knowledge of accounting software such as MYOB and XERO.

Requirements:

  • Relevant accounting or bookkeeping qualifications
  • Experience working within a similar accounting environment
  • Knowledge of MYOB and XERO accounting software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and take a proactive approach to work
