Education Professional - Petrie OSHC

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as an Educator at Petrie OSHC. Our center is located on the grounds of Our Lady of the Way Catholic Primary School, offering a service built on a family-style approach to after-school care.

We focus on nurturing a caring environment that fosters strong relationships with every child and their family. Our goal is to provide a happy and safe learning experience for all students. The right candidate will have the opportunity to step into a leadership role and contribute to the growth and development of our team.

About the Role:

  • Provide high-quality care and education to primary school-aged children
  • Create engaging and inclusive experiences that promote learning and personal growth
  • Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and families
  • Contribute to the development of educational programs and activities
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Cert III or Diploma qualified in Children's Services / Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent)
  • Passion for education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment
  • Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
