Forensic Intervention Clinician

Our organisation is seeking experienced psychologists to join a multidisciplinary team as clinicians in a specialist program area of Corrections Victoria.
About the RoleAs a clinician, you will work on complex cases with individuals who have histories of violent and sexual offending. Your role will be pivotal in reducing reoffending and enhancing community safety.
Your Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments including risk evaluations
- Carry out clinical interviews to determine suitable treatment pathways
- Develop and deliver evidence-based treatment interventions
- Prepare treatment plans, reports, and risk assessment reports for stakeholders
- A tailored induction program for new clinical staff
- Access to national and international experts in forensic work
- Mental health support and wellbeing initiatives
- Ongoing professional development opportunities
Requirements:
Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia
Current driver's licence
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.
