Food Service Associate Role

Our organisation seeks an enthusiastic individual to support daily kitchen operations, deliver exceptional food and outstanding customer service. This position involves high-quality food preparation, meal service, and event catering.

This role is based at a Defence location in South Australia. The successful candidate will also have opportunities to work at other Defence locations for camps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with basic food preparation, including sandwiches, bircher muesli, yogurt, and grab-and-go options.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Support the implementation and management of our Food Safety Program.
  • Help with stock management tasks, including rotation, checking labels, and use-by dates.
  • Clean and maintain cooking utensils, equipment, and food preparation areas.
  • Aid chefs and dining room attendants as required.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures.
