Cloud Project Leadership Role

The Principal Cloud Project Manager will lead comprehensive cloud onboarding and projects for customers, requiring a senior candidate with strong advocacy and communication skills to enhance the cloud onboarding journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, monitor, and close cloud projects including resource allocation, risk management, and change requests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with cloud governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders and cloud leadership.
  • Identify and escalate project risks, resolve project issues, and blockers in collaboration with engineering and technical R&D teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement in cloud project delivery methodology and onboarding processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Must-Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, with at least 2-3 years focused on cloud technologies.
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.

Preferred

  • Experience with cloud migration and modernization projects.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator).
