Automotive Service Manager

Adelaide City Automotive Group, located in Thebarton, is a trusted family-owned multi-franchised dealership.

We are currently seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Department Lead to manage the daily workload for our service department.

The successful candidate will oversee and enhance the overall customer experience by managing booking mix, mentoring and training staff for optimal performance, and upholding dealership standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Effectively manage the daily workload for the service department.
  2. Oversee and enhance the overall customer experience.
  3. Provide support to the Service Advisors in managing customer inquiries, including service bookings, customer complaints, and general enquiries.
  4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with OEMs and franchise support personnel.
  5. Mentor and train service department staff for optimal performance.
  6. Work closely with the management team to uphold dealership standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in personnel and staff management, demonstrating the ability to achieve results and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Previous experience in Automotive Service Management is highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of Pentana DMS will also be highly regarded.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with OEMs and franchise support personnel.
  • Commitment to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
