Lead Daily Banking Operations as a Treasury Expert

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key treasury role, where you will lead daily banking operations and guide two junior team members. You will manage cash positions, ensure appropriate funding, upload outgoing payment files, and process payments in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cash positions and ensure sufficient funds are available
  • Upload outgoing payment files and verify completeness of payment processing
  • Allocate incoming receipts to customer accounts using SAP
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and clear general ledger accounts
  • Match banking transactions in the treasury system
  • Process direct debit and credit card batches
  • Verify vendor and customer bank details
  • Guide and mentor two Banking Administrators
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support automation changes
  • Liaise with IT and SAP consultants to align treasury processes with system updates

About the Role:

You will report to a Treasury Manager who is known for their supportive leadership style. They are organized, fair, and lead with trust. We are looking for someone who can bring that same presence to the day-to-day banking function.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years' experience in treasury operations, banking, or finance shared services
  • SAP experience and confidence with Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage own workload
  • Experience leading or mentoring junior team members
  • Calmness under pressure and ability to guide others through busy periods
