">This expert provides analytical support across various procurement areas, including spend diagnostics, report development, data analytics, market insights, and compliance with established policies and professional practices.
">Main responsibilities include:
">- Analyzing historical and forecast spend data to identify opportunities for improvement, rationalization, savings, and consolidation.
">- Identifying potential risks at the category level, such as supply continuity, safety, revenue, or public relations, and developing mitigation strategies.
">- Gathering freight and logistics category market intelligence and analyzing key insights to inform category management thinking.
">- Calculating and tracking key market and rate-related data, including fuel prices and industry indices.
">- Developing new tools and reporting aimed at utilizing predictive market analytics and insights to drive continuous improvement and implementation within the freight & logistics category.
">- Highlighting opportunities into key cost drivers through data analytics, teardowns, and cross-functional specification analysis.
">- Supporting current and future market activities, interrogating data sets to deliver a greater value proposition, including total cost of ownership (TCO) and 'should be' cost modeling.
">- Identifying and developing new reporting tools, such as supplier balanced scorecards, dashboards, and predictive data analytics, to help the organization achieve its strategic objectives.
