Job DescriptionWe're seeking a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Customer Service Officer. As part of our retail team, you'll play an important role in helping customers service their own businesses, keeping millions of people connected and building community resilience.
Every year around one million customers walk into one of our offices. It's our team who makes sure that every experience they have is a great one. You'll be supported by a welcoming team, take part in ongoing training, and be guided on career development opportunities.
About the Opportunity- You'll be performing customer sales and service transactions with customers.
- You'll manage high value transactions accurately (handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS).
- You'll conduct and process a number of identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews.
- You'll promote our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising and other promotional activities.
- You'll assist customers with mail lodgements and associate costs.
- You'll build rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs.
- You'll need to have experience in customer service and/or cash handling.
- You'll need to be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift.
