Job Title:

Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Description:

The ideal candidate will possess experience in general maintenance repairs, including painting, basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and familiarity with building systems and construction.

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for performing general maintenance functions for residential and commercial clients, including but not limited to painting, basic plumbing, electrical work, light carpentry, property trash-outs, unit turns to ready for new/tenants, drywall repairs, ceiling fan, light fixture installations, preventative and recurring maintenance, general maintenance repairs.

The successful candidate will have the ability to complete work orders within a reasonable timeframe, lift 50lbs, and conduct various functions typically required of maintenance personnel, including bending over, stooping, squatting, climbing stairs and ladders.

Requirements:
  • Active driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation to commute to and from office/job-site during training phase until company vehicle is issued.
  • This position is subject to pre-employment and periodic drug screening/tests.
  • Maintain company vehicles and equipment to acceptable standards. NO SMOKING IN VEHICLE OR IN PROPERTIES.
  • Must have a positive and friendly attitude and ability to relate to residential and commercial tenants, dependable, hardworking, ability to think clearly, follow instructions, dress and act professionally at all times.
