Cleaner Job at Residential Aged Care Home


As a member of our team, you will be providing high-quality cleaning services for our residents within our residential aged care home. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring that resident rooms and common areas are clean and presentable.

About the Role
  • Work as part of a team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in our residents' rooms.
  • Support your peers and maintain a co-operative team spirit.
  • Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Previous experience working as a cleaner ideally.
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families.
  • A reliable team player.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
