About the Role

Kronospan Mdf SL is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead our new trading operation in Australia. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for developing a strong and reliable distribution network and hiring a competent team to operate the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic planning, sales, and logistics/distribution processes
  • Oversee supply chain execution and be accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, 3rd party logistics partner performance, and supply chain issue resolution
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
Requirements
  • Proven track record in developing a large-scale distribution network within the Australian market
  • Extensive commercial sales experience and strong leadership capabilities
  • Experience of working with the wood-panel industry would be highly advantageous
  • Strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and comprehensive financial and analytical knowledge
  • 5+ years' experience in a senior management position in the wood products industry or manufacturing sector
  • Detailed understanding of diverse business functions including sales, logistics, marketing, and finance
  • Documented entrepreneurial experience as a business owner or leading new business development
  • A track record of hiring and developing a commercial team who achieve outstanding results
  • Experience within a senior logistics or supply chain management role
