Auxiliary Firefighter Role

As an auxiliary firefighter, you will be part of a team that delivers high-quality fire and emergency services. Your key responsibilities include responding to incidents, promoting community safety, and contributing to education activities.

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop competencies through regular training and drills, operate specialist equipment, and contribute to station facilities upkeep.

Key Requirements
  • Employer consent to attend incidents (where applicable)
  • Residency within a reasonable distance of the fire station
  • Australian Permanent Resident Status
  • Manual C Class driver's licence

You will also promote a positive team approach, comply with legislative requirements, communicate effectively, and adhere to organisational health principles.
