Your key tasks will include:

  • Building and deploying a unified geospatial network database platform.
  • Collaborating with IT professionals to ensure robust data security and accessibility.
  • Designing and implementing terrestrial fibre-optic networks that seamlessly integrate subsea, terrestrial, and internal fibre cable assets.
  • Monitoring and updating network changes in real-time.
  • Issuing fibre splicing instructions and maintaining accurate records of geospatial assets.
  • Contributing to subsea cable system design and construction initiatives.
  • Providing actionable reports to support various teams.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 7 years of experience in designing and managing geospatial records within telecommunications.
  • A degree in Information Systems or Geographic Information System (GIS).
  • Strong skills in spatial analysis and report creation.
  • Able to work independently and remotely.
  • Experience in managing GIS systems for data center connectivity is a plus.
