Loss Prevention Specialist

Job Overview:

This is a key position that plays a pivotal role in promoting store safety and security.

The successful candidate will be responsible for mitigating risk through overt and covert operations, as well as implementing Stock Loss Management policies and procedures.

  • Monitoring and implementing risk management strategies
  • Incident reporting both internally and externally
  • Store safety administration
  • Compliance with external contractors
  • Building relationships with centre management, local authorities and other retailers
  • Inventory management
  • Safety representative
  • Operation of cameras and surveillance equipment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing and monitoring risk management policies to prevent loss and ensure safe working practices
  • Reporting incidents in a timely and accurate manner, both internally and externally
  • Conducting regular audits to identify potential hazards and ensuring store safety
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures by external contractors
  • Building relationships with stakeholders to promote cooperation and share best practices
  • Managing inventory and conducting stocktakes to ensure accurate records
  • Representing the safety team and ensuring a safe working environment
  • Operating cameras and surveillance equipment to monitor store activity

Requirements:

  • Security License
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and strong attention to detail
