About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our national finance team. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides financial expertise to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing complex tax returns, financial statements, and other financial reports for our clients.
  2. Conducting financial analysis and providing recommendations to improve financial performance.
  3. Developing and implementing financial processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Collaborating with our clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
  5. Leading and mentoring junior team members to ensure their professional development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. 4+ years of experience in taxation and financial analysis.
  2. A Bachelor of Business or Accounting degree (or other relevant tertiary qualifications).
  3. CA/CPA qualification (or working towards).
  4. Experience with financial software and systems, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
