Role Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Peer Support Worker at Fairfield Community Mental Health Service. As a Peer Support Worker, you will provide one-on-one support to consumers, helping them navigate the mental health system and access necessary resources.
You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to promote person-centered care and ensure that consumer voices are heard. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with lived experience of mental health challenges to share their insights and expertise with others, while continuing to develop their skills and knowledge in a supportive environment.
Key Requirements
- Lived experience of mental health challenges and recovery
- Degree or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer
- Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or willingness to complete
- Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2)
