  • The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership, management, and supervision of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective and client-focused service delivery.
  • The role involves overseeing daily operations, identifying service gaps, and supporting growth to achieve full headspace site status.
  • A key responsibility includes collaborating with the Centre Manager to deliver youth-friendly mental health services.
  • Experience working with individuals and families facing mental health challenges, including suicide risk and self-harm, is essential.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence and experience engaging with Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and culturally diverse communities are highly valued.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, occupational therapy, or mental health nursing are required.
  • Current registration with AHPRA or full membership with AASW is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate will have proven ability to lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and engagement.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
  • A valid C-class driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle are also required.
