ISO 27001 Implementation Lead Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of ISO 27001 Implementation Lead. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has successfully led implementations and possesses a deep understanding of the standard.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients. They will be skilled in communicating complex security concepts and risk implications to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

In this role, you will work closely with our team to implement ISO 27001 across multiple customer projects. Your expertise in Annex A security and technical control explanations will be essential in ensuring compliance and minimizing risks.

You will also be responsible for managing projects using Microsoft Project, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining open communication channels with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of ISO 27001 across multiple customer projects
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project delivery
  • Communicate complex security concepts and risk implications to stakeholders
  • Maintain open communication channels with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience working with the ISO 27001 standard
  • ISO 27001 Implementer or Lead Implementer certification through an accredited body (e.g., PECB)
  • Demonstrable project work for ISMS implementation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Microsoft O365 suite experience
  • Microsoft Project for project management
  • Experience with 6 Clicks (nice to have)
