About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator/Cost Planner to join our Brisbane team. This individual will be responsible for developing strategies to win work and collaborating with colleagues to achieve goals, while also being hands-on with cost planning for repeat and ECI business, and hard dollar tendering.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on a broad range of tenders and cost plans, including multi-story residential, retail, and industrial projects, with a value of $5M-$100M.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Proficiency in Buildsoft and/or CostX.
  • Assessing project details and client expectations, particularly on D&C projects with incomplete documentation.
  • Building relationships with local subcontractors and understanding the local market.
  • A strong QS background is highly desirable.
  • Collaborating with the operational team on tender programs and buildability.
  • Preparing subcontractor packages, bills of quantities, and tender submission strategies.
  • Conducting post-tender negotiations.
  • Preparing contract and costing documentation for the construction teams.
  • Confidence in client-facing interactions.
