The Opportunity

As a Travel Consultant with RACV, you will have the opportunity to utilise your exceptional customer service skills and share your extensive knowledge of global destinations and passion for travel. You will be responsible for creating personalised travel itineraries and managing the customer experience from beginning to end.

Our Geelong retail store is open six days a week, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-2pm. Our team works during these hours with the requirement to attend occasional out-of-office industry events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote holiday packages, flights, hotels, cruises, tours, experiences, and insurance
  • Build relationships with customers face-to-face and online, managing new enquiries, quotes, itineraries, amendments, and cancellations
  • Facilitate domestic and international travel bookings and payments between travellers and suppliers, using Amadeus GDS
  • Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, cross-sell, and up-sell of travel products
  • Manage travel credits, refunds, and changes
  • Attend sales meetings and achieve targets and KPIs
  • Attend industry events, such as supplier and product events, ship inspections, and travel expos
