Required Qualifications

  • Trade qualification in mechanical fitting or a related field.
  • Experience in a safety-focused work environment.
  • Background in high-volume manufacturing, particularly in food processing.
  • Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on sustainable solutions.
  • Ability to enhance maintenance practices and improve plant performance.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), preferably Maximo.
  • Excellent communication skills in a collaborative setting.
  • Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Experience in refrigeration and trade waste management is advantageous.
  • Possession of a dual trade or Restricted Electrical License (REL) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with automation and robotics is beneficial.
