Mental Health Youth Justice Specialist

This role is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people in youth justice custody.
- The successful candidate will provide clinical mental health assessments and treatment to young people in a custodial setting.
- They will work collaboratively with experienced clinicians and medical staff, as well as engage with key stakeholders from youth justice and other service providers.
- Care coordination will be a key aspect of this role, working with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to young people transitioning back into the community.
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification in a field such as psychology or social work, along with registration as a mental health professional (see position description for details).
- Knowledge of the youth justice and/or criminal justice system, as well as experience working with young people in similar settings, would be highly regarded.
