The Role

This clinical radiology nurse specialist position involves providing efficient imaging services, optimising patient care, and interacting with patients while gathering accurate information within a set timeframe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Documentation accuracy and completion
  • Pre- and post-procedural nursing care
  • Scrubbing/scouting for interventional procedures, including PICC line insertions, biopsies, lumbar punctures, drainages, and pain management injections
  • Monitoring and caring for sedated patients
  • Accessing port and PICC devices
  • IV cannulation
  • Assisting staff and patients across all modalities
  • Ongoing continuous professional development
Requirements
  • Full APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse - minimum 2 years of experience
  • Proven acute nursing experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
