Job Opportunity: Water Quality Technical Officer

Are you a detail-oriented professional with expertise in water quality risk management and/or quality management systems? Do you have experience in data analytics and technical report writing?

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our Process Compliance Operations Team as a Water Quality Technical Officer. This 12-month opportunity will be part of the Infrastructure Reliability & Performance Branch within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data collection, synthesis, analysis and reporting of water quality performance.
  • Assisting in the management of water quality compliance and regulatory reporting for the delivery of safe, efficient and reliable water services.
  • Assisting in administering the water quality monitoring contract and programs in accordance with the Service Level Agreement and documented procedures.
  • Assisting in the development, implementation and review of Quality Management Systems.
  • Assisting in customer investigations and complaint management.

Our ideal candidate will have an understanding of water quality risk management and/or quality management systems, be detail orientated and proficient in data analytics. The role requires a science and/or engineering background, with a focus on quality management systems, as well as experience with water monitoring programs and technical report writing.

Requirements:
  • Science and/or engineering degree with a focus on quality management systems.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years experience with water monitoring programs.
  • Technical report writing and data analysis.
  • Stakeholder engagement across multiple teams and different disciplines.
