Job Title: Occupational Therapist

About this Role:

We seek an experienced occupational therapist to join our multidisciplinary team on a part-time basis. As an OT, you will work closely with the team to ensure safe and effective services and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with diverse inpatient rehabilitation cases including medical, orthopaedic, neurological, reconditioning and geriatric patients.
  • Care for acute inpatients, day rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation and conduct home visits.
  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-year experience in acute hospital settings.
  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with the relevant health practitioner agency.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and autonomously.
