The Registered Nurse is a key role in our organization, responsible for providing leadership and oversight during non-business hours. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that values its team members and offers a supportive working environment.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in aged care as a Registered Nurse, with a strong understanding of Aged Care accreditation standards and ANNAC. They will also have expertise in medication administration and wound care, with a commitment to ongoing clinical excellence.

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Providing compassionate and competent care to residents, addressing their specific medical, physical, and emotional needs.
  • Managing and leading a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers, and support staff.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of individual care plans for each resident, considering their unique health requirements and preferences.
  • Ensuring proper administration and management of medications for residents, adhering to prescribed schedules and protocols.
  • Communicating effectively with residents' families or legal guardians, providing updates on their loved one's condition and involving them in care decisions when appropriate.
  • Handling emergency situations and critical incidents promptly and effectively.
