Job Title

As a skilled Apigee engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing API solutions using the Apigee Edge/X platform. This role involves collaborating with architects, security experts, developers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and design efficient API solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing OpenID, OAuth 2.0, JWT integrations and TLS/mTLS. They will also possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate, as well as excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop API solutions using the Apigee Edge/X platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design efficient API solutions
  • Configure and customize Apigee Edge/X policies, proxies and API products
  • Manage authentication and authorization solutions
  • Optimize API performance, scalability and security
  • Develop and maintain API documentation, including specifications, diagrams and user guides
  • Troubleshoot and debug API issues and provide timely resolutions
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in API management and the Apigee platform
