Deputy Architect

Job Summary

Whizdom Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Architect to lead the technical aspects of a project. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the agreed scope of works within the governance framework of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Development Priorities: Manage technical development priorities for new Gateway design and implementation.
• Technical Documentation: Develop and be responsible for technical documentation of the solution and solution environment.
• Delivery and Support: Ensure delivery of key development outcomes and support & maintenance & reporting requirements of the in-service system.

Essential Experience

• Secure Gateway Design: Secure Gateway Design in accordance with ACSC Government guidance.
• Gateway Architecture: Gateway Architecture and Design in secure environments.
• Desirable Skills: A background in programming and infrastructure-as-code/orchestration/automation.
• Highly Desirable Skills: Working level knowledge of vendor IT Infrastructure technologies (Hardware and Software – Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, RHEL).

Security Requirements

Due to our client's requirements, only Australian Citizens that hold a current NV2 security clearance as a minimum will be considered for this vacancy.
