Job Title: Garden Maintenance Team Leader

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our garden maintenance team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for gardening and outdoor work. If you are a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct a team of maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Develop and implement schedules and plans to ensure timely completion of garden maintenance activities, including planting, hedging, weeding, pruning, and fertilising.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members to enhance their horticultural skills and safety practices.
  • Regularly inspect garden areas to assess their condition, identify improvements needed, and implement corrective actions.
  • Interact with clients to understand their preferences, address concerns, and provide updates on maintenance activities.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens
  • Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
  • White Card
  • Valid Drivers' license
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
