Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated Medical Assistants for full-time roles across various locations. The ideal candidates will possess excellent customer service abilities, maintain a positive and professional demeanor, and demonstrate proficiency in managing multiple responsibilities. Medical Assistants are integral to the healthcare team, facilitating efficient patient flow and providing high-quality care in a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough electronic health record (EHR) assessments to ensure all patient clinical measures are met, diligently documenting outcomes. This includes seeing a designated number of patients daily and addressing any care gaps.
  • Manage and coordinate patient referrals for both internal and external services, working closely with Referral Coordinators as necessary.
  • Promote a collaborative team environment, partnering with other healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes based on the Patient-Centered Medical Home model.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and consistently adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Performance Metrics:
  • Adhere to the established schedule and begin providing services promptly each day.
  • Exhibit AIDET skills in all patient interactions.
  • Address all quality care gaps for each patient treated.
  • Serve a minimum of ten patients daily.
  • Provide strong support for Follow My Health enrollment.
  • Complete chart notes within 24 hours of service.
  • Support the average number of patient visits for a full day's schedule per provider.
Duties Include:
  • Follow established protocols for patient intake and discharge.
  • Ensure all provider specialty referrals are completed for each patient.
  • Administer injections and dispense oral medications as directed by physicians.
  • Assist medical providers during office visits and minor surgical procedures, ensuring clear communication.
  • Efficiently manage medication refills.

Qualifications:
  • Must possess a Washington State MA-Certificate or an MA-Interim License, passing the exam within the probationary period.
  • Previous experience in family medicine is preferred.
  • Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification within 90 days of hire and maintain it throughout employment.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
