Family Lawyer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Family Lawyer to join our team at AFL Recruitment. As a Family Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation to clients in family law matters.

About the Role

This is a key role within our firm, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with our senior Family Lawyers to develop your skills and expertise. You will be responsible for managing your own client caseload, including divorce, separation, children's matters, property, financial agreements, domestic violence, and mental health matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in family law matters
  • Manage your own client caseload, including divorce, separation, children's matters, property, financial agreements, domestic violence, and mental health matters
  • Work closely with senior Family Lawyers to develop your skills and expertise
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in family law legislation and court procedures

Requirements
  • Minimum 12 months post-admission experience in family law
  • Solid technical knowledge of family law legislation and court procedures
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
  • Highly adaptable and client-centric
  • Outstanding communication and people skills
