Plant Machinery Specialist

The Plant Operator will play a key role in the delivery of essential road infrastructure improvements.
Responsibilities include operating various heavy plant machinery, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to high-quality project outcomes.
Operational excellence and workplace safety are crucial in this dynamic construction environment.
- Work as part of a team delivering road infrastructure projects.
- Operate heavy plant machinery including backhoes, excavators, loaders, bobcats, mixers, stabilisers, and rollers.
- Maintain equipment checks, identify environmental hazards, and conduct routine and complex manual tasks.
As a key member of the team, you will drive operational efficiency and contribute to successful project outcomes.
This is an ongoing full-time role based at Narrandera with opportunities for skill development across multiple plant types.
Relocation within 70 km of Narrandera is required due to TfNSW's WHS and fatigue management policies.
Travel and work away from home extensively are expected in this role with allowances applying.
Key Skills and QualificationsWe seek a highly capable and experienced Plant Operator who can rectify simple hazards without direction and report them accordingly.
- Current Construction Industry White Card.
- Unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence.
- Traffic control certification is desirable but not essential.
