About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meter Reader to join our team in the Mornington Peninsula area. As a Meter Reader, you will be responsible for walking an allocated neighbourhood and taking and recording utility meter readings. No experience is required, as we will provide all necessary training and PPE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately read allocated meter routes in a timely and efficient manner
  • Uphold Service Stream safety standards and represent the company in a professional manner
  • Meet targets and work independently, with regular communication with the office support team
  • Upload and download route information to/from a hand-held device

Requirements

  • Ability to work in most weather conditions and undertake plenty of walking, bending, and squatting
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and good attention to detail are essential
  • Flexible and comfortable with daily travel of up to 45 minutes each way
