About this role

This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of our Catering Team at Cairns Airport as a Casual Customer Delivery Driver.

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused individual to load catering onto aircraft, drive hi-lift trucks, and work with airline cabin crew to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading catering, equipment, and carts onto aircraft and trucks
  • Driving short distances and performing basic vehicle safety checks, including refueling
  • Guiding and positioning trucks safely in line with company policies
  • Communicating with airline cabin crew for aircraft servicing and delivery handovers
  • Administrative documentation, reporting, and general cleaning duties
Requirements
  • A clean valid MR or HR Driver's License
  • Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks
  • Flexibility working around flight schedules is essential
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • 20/20 vision and sound hearing is vital for this role
  • Neat and tidy presentation
  • A cleared National Police Check is required
