Job Title: Rear Lift Driver

The Role of a Rear Lift Driver is key in ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of waste management services.

This role involves operating a vehicle with rear lift capabilities, requiring:

  • Operating vehicles and equipment in accordance with instructions or operating procedures and company regulations;
  • Ensuring presentation of vehicle, inside and out, meets high standards;
  • Performing daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicle and/or equipment as required;
  • Loading and unloading duties of waste;

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence or Class 4 Licence;
  • Experience operating a rear lift vehicle (desirable);
  • Experience in the waste industry (desirable);
  • A good work ethic and commitment to safety;
  • Self-motivation and mechanical aptitude.

Working hours are Monday - Friday, 4am starts, with 10-11 hour days. This is a 3 month assignment, depending on workload may be extended. View of permanency is not guaranteed.

Key RequirementsSkills and Qualifications

A successful candidate must have:

  • Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence or Class 4 Licence;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Basic computer skills.
