At West HQ, we're seeking a highly skilled and creative Sous Chef to join our team. As a senior chef in a high-volume, quality-focused restaurant, you'll be hands-on, managing, inspiring, and motivating your team while liaising with stakeholders. Your advanced time management, organisational, and task delegation skills will ensure the smooth running of the kitchen operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the kitchen team to maintain quality, standards, and cleanliness.
  • Develop and implement creative menus that showcase Asian cuisine.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless operations in a high-expectation environment.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end volume operation.
  • Expert knowledge in Asian cuisine.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
  • Full Australian working rights.
