We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to join a high-impact team responsible for safeguarding a global network from malicious actors.

About the Role

As a cyber security threat hunter, you will be part of a dynamic team leveraging threat intelligence and analytical skills to proactively detect and respond to threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct proactive threat hunts across enterprise networks.
  • Leverage cyber threat intelligence to support hunt activities.
  • Develop and maintain threat detection tools, dashboards, and custom use cases.
  • Analyse logs and security events to identify anomalous activity.
  • Recommend security enhancements and countermeasures.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain high-quality technical documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 3 years in cyber security incident response or threat hunting.
  • Proficiency with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
  • Experience using the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • Strong skills in designing and testing detection use cases.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Well-developed technical writing abilities.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a technical field.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, Microsoft or Splunk.
  • NV2 or higher clearance (or ability to obtain).
Benefits and Working Arrangements
  • Duration: 12 months + extensions.
  • Hours: Up to 40 hours per week.
  • Working Arrangement: Hybrid (typically 3 days in office, 2 days WFH).
  • Security Clearance: Must hold an active NV1 clearance.
