At Harrison Barratt Group (HBG), we are seeking a skilled Scaffold Estimator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our scaffolding solutions team, you will play a crucial role in supporting construction projects of all sizes with reliable and efficient scaffolding services.
Key Responsibilities:- Estimate Preparation: Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for scaffolding projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Blueprint Analysis: Review and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to determine scaffolding needs.
- Vendor Coordination: Source and evaluate materials and equipment from suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide recommendations, and address any concerns related to scaffolding solutions.
- Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and make adjustments as needed to stay within financial constraints.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed estimates, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure all estimates and scaffolding designs comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in scaffolding estimation, construction estimating, or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred but not essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimating software and tools, as well as a solid understanding of scaffolding systems and construction practices.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members.
