About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance and Performance Testing Expert to join our team at Snaphunt. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop performance test strategies and plans to ensure the optimal performance of our software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize performance testing requirements.
  • Develop and execute performance tests to ensure the software meets the required performance standards.
  • Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Work with development teams to resolve performance issues and implement fixes.
  • Develop and maintain performance testing scripts and tools.
  • Provide training and support to other team members on performance testing best practices.

Requirements

  • More than 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Performance Testing.
  • Experience in project management and QA methodology.
  • Experience in data analysis and SQL.
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks and regression testing.
  • Understanding of Scrum process and working in an Agile environment.
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
  • Working knowledge of test management software and SQL.
  • Automation framework experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience in Java and Python is required.
  • Understanding of AZURE (or similar Cloud) is required.
  • Experience in continuous integration tools.
  • Knowledge of GitHub is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of UNIX Scripting is advantageous.
  • SQL, HIVE, and big data ingestion concepts are desirable.
  • Control M, Jenkins for Testing is highly desirable.
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of QA/Data Performance Test knowledge is required.
  • Big Data/Analytics frameworks are advantageous – AZURE or like.
  • Underlying infrastructure for Big Data Solutions is advantageous.
  • Ability to code using scripting languages is required – E.g. Unix, Java, Python, R.
  • Candidate must have Australian Citizenship.
  • Understanding of Financial Services Industry is advantageous.
