Remote Data Analyst Opportunity

This is a part-time freelance opportunity to work from home as a data analyst contributing to projects enhancing digital maps and related data quality. The role allows for flexibility in working hours and can be undertaken by individuals with the right skills and qualifications.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and evaluation tasks in a web-based environment, including verifying and comparing data, assessing relevance and accuracy of information, and working on projects aimed at enhancing the content and quality of digital maps used by millions of people worldwide.

Qualifications

To be suitable for this role, you must have full professional proficiency in English, reside in Australia for the last two consecutive years, and have familiarity with current and historical Australian business, media, sport, news, social media, and cultural affairs. You should also have the ability to follow guidelines and conduct online research using search engines, online maps, and website information. Additionally, you should have daily access to broadband internet, a computer, and relevant software.

Assessment and Application

To be hired, you'll take an open-book qualification exam to determine suitability, along with ID verification. Guidelines and learning materials are provided before the exam, which you complete within a specified timeframe at your convenience.
