Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

This role is focused on delivering exceptional mechanical engineering solutions for facility assets, infrastructure and systems. The successful candidate will have expertise in designing, developing and implementing technical solutions to meet business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Studies and Analysis: Perform thorough studies, analyses, investigations and consultations to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize performance.
  • Design and Development: Design and develop innovative solutions to moderate to extreme technical problems across the mechanical engineering discipline.
  • Engineering Calculations: Perform complex engineering calculations in support of facility infrastructure operation and design.
  • Technical Recommendations: Provide expert recommendations on facilities system, infrastructure and equipment reliability, operation, maintenance, life-cycle management and costing.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and meeting business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum one year experience with building management and control systems, facilities operation and maintenance required.
  • Skills: Familiarity with HVAC and hydronic systems, data centre cooling systems, building management and control systems.
